This is a basically a PCB that replaces your Macintosh 128/512/Plus's existing ROMs with a 8 Mb one. What are the advantages of the upgrade?

- ability to boot OS from ROM and run apps and games -- just press "r" at startup,
- turns your 128k or 512k into enhanced models (128 ke, 512 ke) that support 800k disks and HD20,
- lets you to flash "the disk" inside OS with your content, no need for any hardware programmer
- customizable startup sound and happy Mac

No more single floppy hassle (OS before System 6 wont allow you to eject boot floppy in order to open another disk, with System 6 it's possible, but it's a real struggle, because the System makes you juggle between bootable and application floppies back and forth, regardless of memory size!)

I have one unit left used in Macintosh Plus at the moment. 128k/512k needs different pinout.

Price: 39.99 EUR plus shipping, I can offer free installation if you're willing to send me your motherboard.
