820-1497-A CPU daughterboard from a PowerMac G4 MDD (2003).
Board has a single 1.25 GHz G4 (167 Mhz bus) and 1 MB L3 cache.
It's visually perfect but appears to be faulty: It boots and runs fine, then the system will freeze at some random point after CPU "action" has begun.
Disabling the L2 cache cured the problem, so it appears L2 doesn't run reliably when the G4 gets hot.
If anyone wants this board to tinker with (use better cooling? lower the G4 frequency? replace the chip?) they can have it for EUR 5, worldwide postage included.
