Hello,

i have for sale a very clean Amiga 4000D Motherboard. Bought elsewhere months ago as not working hardware (they gives a blue screen after a tempt to put new capacitors), i have re-replaced new capacitors and, during that, i have found a short on the audio area. I have cleaned it, replaced two wires with fine copper, and i have prepared the board to accept new simm sockets for the fast ram (the chip ram socket is original and like new, like ever! Because a user is used to play with fast ram and not chip ram socket...or you mean that Commodore has used bad parts to build Amiga 4000?).
So, apart all of this, almost all the solder joints are in original state!
This board look very clean and i know, i will regret to sell it!
This motherboard doesnt know of battery leakage!
A socket for the new battery is included!
I do not have a cpu card, so the state of this motherboard is unknow, but i have powered it and checked with a scope the most important signals! They are ok and the video signal is there too (it gives a rock solid black screen :) ...without cpu card)!

I ask for this motherboard 300 Eur + postage, more or less what i have paid for it + my work to put new capacitors, to rebuild part of the audio area and to prepare the holes for new simm sockets (and the check of the scope!).

Regards
Stefano

Board received couple of days ago, optical condition good, does not boot - even with DiagROM only green/red screen.
Need to dig further... :)

Hello,

please, reply to me on PM. You can send it back with an A3630, but be sure about chip ram inserted!

Regards
Stefano

Hello,

about the bad news, i am sure you have checked the integrity of the package and then, the ROM and the Buster chip, right pressed into they own sockets. Then you have inserted the chip ram and a cpu card. I have not checked the simm socket left, but i am sure it was in a very good state. Please, check this.
You can send back to me the motherboard, with an A3630 and the chip ram: they are missing here in my home, otherwise i have done all the job to check properly the board and repair it (i have repaired some A4000D motherboard, even one with an issue on Paula, shorted on the negative voltage: it was very cold without apparently signs of damage; the board is now working, with all the other IC untouched! It was happened on A1K.org).

Cheers
Stefano
