This sale is for an A3000D base unit that basically works but needs attention.
I bought as a fixer-upper project from Amibay about 10 years ago but I simply never got round to working on it. It needs some chassis work and an RTC clock fix but is otherwise pretty sound.
This sale is just for the base unit, no keyboard, mouse, hard drive or software included. Please note that in order to show it running in the pictures I hooked it up to a SCSItoSD adaptor, a Gotek and a GVP SCSI card but these are NOT included in the sale. SCSI card will be up for sale separately soon.
Not entirely sure what this is worth but asking for £250 or near offer.
Will post internationally. P&P will vary but expect something like £15-£30 for UK/Europe, maybe more further afield. Please PM me a quote.
Payment by Paypal Friend or Family please, or buyer to pay fees.

Full details below:
Basic Specs:
- 68030@25Mhz
- 2Mb Chip + 4Mb fast (8 x 1Mbx4 FPM ZIP)
- Rev 7.3 motherboard
- Rev 5 daughetrboard
- -04 Ramsey
- -02 Super DMAC
- -07 Super Buster
- Proto -04 SCSI chip
- Kickstart 3.1 40.68 installed in ROM tower
- 1 floppy drive on mounting sled
The good:
- Works and is stable!
- Had an A3640 running in it quite happily.
- Zorro slots work, tested with a GVP SCSI card (not included in sale)
- Outer case and front panel in good condition.
The not so good:
- Some motherboard battery damage. This was repaired professionally but the RTC still doesn't work. Tried replacing the RTC chip but no go. Needs some investigation.
- Zorro expansion card mounting metalwork missing. No idea where this went to but you can't safely mount any Zorro cards until this is remedied.
- Some slight corrosion on the chassis.
- Case screws, rear socket pillars, some internal screws and plastic spacers missing. I will try to 3D print some replacement daughterboard spacers if required.
- Case is slightly mis-aligned so the power button sometimes will stick. Chassis needs some slight straightening.
- Missing HD and second floppy mounting sleds.
- Broken power LED. HDD works but power LED has been damaged.
- Missing eject button on floppy
