Hi,

I have a very sorry looking - and smoke smelling A1200 that needs restoring.

It has no power supply, so i need this first - any advice on where to get one - anyone on here have one for sale ?

She also needs a fix to the RGB output - she is not showing blue at the moment -> any advice where to start ?

Lastly, i would like to add a CF HDD, I see loads on ebay with WHDLoad included -> but need advice on where to start with this.

Thanks in advanced..

Ian.

A1200 power supply here or take a chance on a cheaper one from another seller

No Blue -- could be video chip or component in the Video circuit

CF HD-- as you will only have standard 2mb of ram then go for `Lite` version of CWB otherwise you will run out out memory and your system will not boot, or upgrade your ram to 4 or 8mb

Hi,

for the power supply I can highly recommend the Meanwell RT-50B.

It provides up to 5.5 Amps on the 5V line and has all three voltages needed, i.e. 5, 12, and -12. You can get it for around $20 from various sources. Also, the 5V output is adjustable between about 4.7 and 5.5V.

It fits perfectly in the original power supply cases. So, I'd recommend buying a cheap, broken original supply and replacing its guts with the Meanwell.

Best,
Torsten
