Wire connexion:
The schematic of this Megachip is the same as the one I make for the A500.
One the design of the PCB is different to be smaller and allowing an installation also in the A2000 & the CDTV.
As the one made for the A500, you'll have to desolder the PLCC socket of the Amiga motherboard and solder the Megachip at its place.
This kit includes:
- 1 x green PCB, (white pcb is the prototype produced at only 10 units.)
- 4 x network resistors,
- 6 x capacitors,
- 2 x RAM ICs,
- 1 x programmed GAL IC,
- 1 x 3M PLCC socket for the AGNUS chip,
- 4 x double row pins,
- 1 x wire.
You'll have to provide the AGNUS chip. If you don't own an AGNUS chip, you'll able to buy it from online Amiga shops.
Compatible AGNUS:
Agnus (2MB) 8375 R2 318069-10 A500+ (PAL), A600 (PAL)
Agnus (2MB) 8375 318069-11 A500+(NTSC) and A600(NTSC)
Agnus (2MB) 8375 390544-01 A500+ (PAL), A600 (PAL)
Agnus (2MB) 8375 390544-02 A500+ (NTSC), A600 (NTSC)
Available PCBs: 45
Amount for one complete KIT: 30€

tested.
