Default CD32 power supply with double the power output of the original

    Hello fellow Amibayers,

PLEASE NOTE! I'm on vacation/parental leave till mid October. You should continue expressing interest, but have to be a little patient when it comes to shipping as I won't come around to it very often during this time.

I'm selling 3(more are possible)* replacement power supplies for the CD32, especially suitable for consoles upgraded by TerribleFire's excellent TF330 accelerator.

This is a high quality power brick, originally build by Delta Technologies for a range of Cisco switches. I cleaned it, changed the connector to a CD32 compatible DIN style one, and did some re-styling.
As for the technical specs, the supply can take any input voltage between 100 and 240 V AC at 50 or 60 Hz and is able to output 4.4 Ampére @ 5.2 V and 560 mA @ 12 V. The original PSU of my CD32 only manages 2.2 A @ 5 V, so the new one leaves lots of headroom. This is of great importance to the available accelerators, since they only tap into the 5 V line.

However, because this device supplies 5.2 V instead of just 5 V, it will provide a slight overvoltage to the CD32's components. Although this should be well within the tolerance limits of all Amiga circuitry, which according to my experience can take even 5.5 V without any problems, you should only consider buying this PSU if you feel comfortable about that fact. Only thing I can say is that my CD32 already ran for hours on one of these without any problems.
That said, here are some pictures:
