Hi folks,
I have an issue 3B ZX Spectrum 48K for sale. It's fully working but cosmetically it's a little ugly:
- The face plate (metal plate over the keyboard) is scratched, it has dents / dings and some small bends in it and it is not stuck down properly
- The ZX Spectrum text is patchy - it looks like someone has tried to draw it back on with a silver pen
- There are minor scratches on the plastic case itself though these are mostly on the shiny back panel and the bottom panel - the top of the case (the plastic) - looks OK
All keys work and the rubber keypad is in pretty good condition. It has not been modded so only outputs RF at present. It has been tested using a DivMMC Future - I have not tried loading from tape (or my phone, etc).
As you probably already know you can get replacement cases, keyboard membranes, rubber mats and face plates from various sources (e.g. http://zxrenew.co.uk, https://retroradionics.co.uk, https://www.thefuturewas8bit.com/shop/sinclair.html) so it would be pretty easy and cheap to get this looking a lot more presentable.
Asking £25 via PayPal excluding fees and postage. Spectrum only - no PSU, no box, no cables, no games.
