    Default AmigaOne XE-G4

    Hi all,

I am selling my AmigaOne XE-G4. This was my pride and joy. I bought this second hand in ~2007 from an Amigan exiting the scene. Since then, I have lavished alot of care, attention and money on it. However, since I got my X5000 in 2017, I haven't had much use for it, and I need the money, so I'm going to part with it.

AmigaOne XE-G4 @ 800 mhz (not overclocked, and with the Voltage settings at Eyetech's factory setting).
U-Boot: 1.1.4: This was the never-officially released version that supports booting from SATA.
Graphics card: Radeon 9250 256 MB AGP. Note, this is a good card. However, it takes a while for the card to initialise, so boot is a little slower. Also, Workbench displays the full 256 MB, but if you try and use more than 128 MB, the screen often becomes corrupted. I have another 128 MB card you can have if you prefer. Benchmark here http://hdrlab.org.nz/Benchmark/GfxBench2D/Result/2157
    Memory: 1 GB.
    DVD Drive:LG HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GH24NSB0 SATA
    HDD Drive: Western Digital ST2000DM W1E6 (I think it's 2TB) SATA
3114 SATA card (4-channel, so you can add another 2 SATA devices if you like)
4-port USB 2.0 card (it has a 5th internal port which I have connected to one of the USB connectors on the case. The motherboard USB headers are not connected, I don't recommend using them).
Lexma keyboard, and a rather worn 5-button mouse, both PS/2.
The stock Thermaltake cooler has been replaced with a Zalman VF-900-CU VGA cooler. This is the recommended cooler to use with the A1-XE, and makes the machine very stable. Until I got this, large USB transfers would often hang. Now, I can copy lots of data across USB 2 (not the MB USB) and no problems. I haven't, but you may want to explore changing the vcore settings.
Case: iCute (I think - still original). The power button is getting a bit sticky and sometimes doesn't engage. There's a Linux badge on the case, but I don't have Linux installed, only OS 4.1.
    Soundblaster sound card.
There are 2 80mm Xilence fans in the rear, as well as a rear-slot fan under the GFX card. These are beginning to make a bit of a squeal on initial power-up, but it goes away pretty quickly.
The 2.5" bay has a DeepCool Rockman fan controller for the Zalman, the slot fan, and the Xilence fans, with variable speeds (the case fans can be switched off, the CPU fan can be reduced to slow speed). Plus, it has groovy blue LEDs which are also variable and sound activated, which match the case's LEDs.
CPU temps run around 36 degrees celsius. On a hot Auckland summer's day, they go up to 39 degrees. In winter, the fans can be turned down and temps stay at max 36.
I should be able to sign over my OS 4.1 FE copy over to the buyer (need to figure that out, but shouldn't be too hard).
    Power Supply: Antec HCG-520M 80-plus bronze semi-modular.

Monitor not included. I can include AUS/NZ power cables, otherwise you'll have to source your own.

I don't believe the DMA fix has been done. I never got it done, and I don't believe the previous owner did either. However, as currently configured the machine doesn't use the motherboard IDE or USB headers. Runs pretty stable since I had the cooler replaced.

Price is 650 USD. IBAN bank transfers only. Willing to ship anywhere at the buyer's expense.
