    Default Faulty 2000 motherboard v4.5 ??????

Hi All I need some help with my 2000 motherboard v4.5. On the kickstart screen you can see a bit of the floppy drive icon on the left part of the screen.. I have changed the Denise chip but it's still there. It's not the monitor.. Because using my other board (v6.2) it's not there..

Oh. I thought that faulty ram gives you a green screen, so if your right I'll never find the ram fault then..

Could be RAM, could be ROM as well. Try reseating all the socketed chips to see if that helps.

Well Viktor.. The board is not in my 2000 case. A v6.2 board is installed. You see I was just powering up the board for the first time, since I bought it, and did a recap too..

Check soldering on denise socket, or socket itself.
