040->060 adapter boards 060 sockets

Guys I might sound stupid. But I was wondering. you see, I'm building some 040->060 adapter boards (Min order was 10 sets), as for the 060 PGA socket (Real 060 sockets Yeah!!). Should I remove the center part or not. You see there's 2 caps that are under the socket..

No answers I see.. Anyway, Here's pics of the 2 boards ( Nine sets more to go). Bottom board is complete.. Top board is waiting for the 060 PGA sockets to arrive. But hand soldering at me best... However, did I make a mistake and used SMD Linear Tech 3.3V/3A Regulator LD1085CM ones.. You see, I saw a pic of one of Cosmos boards and he used this reg, so that's where I got the idea from.. They sure do look nice soldered in though...

I would be interested in two sets, just the bits so I can assemble myself (not sure if you have a for sale thread).

Anyway I believe the (unmodified) sockets could have the caps fitted under them as they are not flush with pcb?
