    Default Soyo 4SAW2 - 486 PCI/VLB motherboard

This is a bit of a strange one (for me)...

I was about to start desoldering components on this old Soyo 4SAW2 motherboard, for use in other retro projects. Then I did a quick googling and apparently this kind of board is kinda attractive (?) for PC retro build. Retro-pc is really not my scene so what do I know

So I figured I would put this up here, if it's useful to anyone then I guess I can use the cash to buy NOS components with instead. If not then it's heading for the desoldering station

An AMD-X5-133-ADZ cpu is fitted, and I believe there is 256kb of S-ram cache on the board. The picture is also showing a single 72pin simm module but I'll remove that before any sale (no simm ram included).

    Included
    • Soyo 4SAW2 Motherboard
    • AMD-X5-133-ADZ cpu
    • Onboard cache-ram

    Condition
Totally unknown condition apart from what I can tell visually - I did find the motherboard carefully packaged in a box, when I found it there was a good old Varta battery fitted and it had leaked and caused some corrosion on the board (obviously I removed the battery asap). Overall I would say the corrosion seems very localised and with a good clean + possibly a new wire or two everything should be ok.

I have no AT PSU so unfortunetly I can't test the board any further - this one is 100% as-is, take a good look at the pictures.

    Shipping
By default I will ship the card with insurance and tracking.
However I can ship it without tracking/insurance which ofcourse is much cheaper (think it might pass as a normal letter) but this will be entirely at the buyers risk/choice.
Pickup & inspection are also available in Denmark.

Kindly allow a few days for shipping.

    Price
Asking price is 50 euro or equivalent in another currency + shipping costs.
Paypal is the preferred mode of payment - gift-option sounds like the simplest but am open to alternatives assuming the buyer pays any costs associated.

N.b. note that the asking price is less than the £50 listed in the rules (£42 = 50euro), hence above picture was not included initially.
