The vast majority of boards shipped so far are not buffered. This was because there were reports that buffered boards would not work on A2000, and since I didn't have one to check, I didn't want to risk sending boards that would not boot. This appears to have been debunked recently however, with several people reporting no issues with buffers on the A2000, so from now on the boards shipped will have buffers. I don't know if the one shipped to you has them or not - but it shouldn't really matter either way. The only benefit of buffered versions are that they let you use very long cables.Originally Posted by Cyb
