Default Power button for Philips CM88xx / Commodore monitors with front button

    Hi friends.

I got my hands on some brand new (not NOS) power switches that seem suitable for front button monitors like the Philips CM88xx family and the firsts Commodore's 1084 made by Philips (with the power button on the front).

With a little of craftsmanship I think other monitors can be salvaged too.

I've already replaced one in my Philips CM8852 that was broken and it works great.
Going to to the same on my Philips CM8833 soon too.

The button is this one here:

Note that the piece with the two holes (1.8cm apart), won't come off as the original Philips one. This button black structure is one entire piece, so the monitors that have a piece of metal instead of this 2 holes need adaptation. This last case is usually the way the rear button monitors work ... with a metal fixation on the PCB and not 2 screws.

IN STOCK: 10 buttons ( note: minimum quantity per order is 2 )

The price is 10€ each + shipping + Paypal fee.

    Cheers,
    J

    Hi Jorge

Sorry just realized these are for the front. Mine is a CM8833 II so need a switch for the back. I do have a CM8833 I in storage not sure if it works because I haven't been able to check due to lockdown etc.

I will let you know if I need one, thanks.
