I'm currently looking for two items to complete the TI Extensa-Scholar ESS3/Acer Extensa E610CDT laptop computer: keyboard (US layout) and floppy drive. Both of these have stopped working or didn't work at all since I got the laptop (per seller's message on eBay).
The Item numbers:
1) SMK KAS1901-0161R (Acer 90.46907.001) --> US Keyboard
2) Acer FDD-101 --> external floppy drive + ribbon cable that connects between the drive and laptop
I attempted to repair both without success and some parts snapped in 3 pieces.
Must be CONUS (US only) and these part numbers are similar to the ones that the Acer 370/370p/390 series used (Pentium-based laptops).
The reasons for both are because:
1) I don't have any other spare keyboards to use as I need the keyboard for a particular system
2) I need to do an OS refresh on the laptop as the HDD isn't running well with so much crap on there and the recovery CDs are possibly not bootable and require a diskette (will need to verify that first) and I need to copy files to the HDD (games and stuff) and don't want to put it on my network.
