Hello there.

I'm here for the first time but want to share my latest project which is Custom made Commodore Amiga keypad controller was fully designed and made by me.

Controller is based on very popular Cherry MX Red mechanical switches.

Top and bottom plate was made from 1.5mm steinless steel 304 plate laser cut, in addition they were brushed and polished a little bit.

Cherrry MX switches are only PCB mounted, therefore I've decided to support it with 11 studs to make it strudy, PCB won't bend even after heavy gaming :)

I've tried to make this project as simple as possible, with modular build but also to make it last.

This controller is absolutely brilliant when playing any platformer!

For people who are curious about why I've decided to make this kind of controller, I just wanted to bring my childhood memories back!

About 30 years ago my dad made a similar controller from an old texas instrument calculator, body was made from an old soap box! and it was the best controller I ever had.
