I have 2 apollo 1240 and I decied to install 68060 to these cards,

I have problem with regulator part, I used 1117 3.3V regulator, at the begining it worked 10 minutes and stoped working anymore

I built by looking Stachu's 3.3V regulator, no boot on A1200

Input is 5V and output is 3.3V, no heat on 1117, also tried other 3.3V regulators such as 1085 3.3V

does anyone have sugestion

best regards

Is it LT1117-3.3 ? It looks like it is 800mA version which is way too low ... You have to look for min 3A, best 5A for overclocking. Or if yo have ATX power supply just omit 5V and connect 3.3V from PSU to the board.

yes bebek it is lt117 3.3V, I also gues it is low for 060, now I also tried LT1085 3.3V I gues it is 3A, still no success

It is good Idea to take 3.3V from atx but I want to use it in an orginal a1200 case

Check 5V on LT1085 input. Maybe after a few minutes your power supply can take it no more :) .
