    Default Amiga 4000 Desktop

    Hi guys,

This is my last complete Amiga 4000 machine for now. It comes with a Video Toaster 4000 card tested and working (will remove to sell if nobody wants bundle). It boots fine every time and reads floppies and CD's.

The battery was removed long ago, so no corrosion there as you can see in the pictures. It does have the following issues though...

The Amiga audio outputs are defective. Originally it had one very quiet side and the other side was just a "hum". I replaced the 47uf output coupling caps, but lifted the pads on one of them. This has been jumped back in directly to the board, but the same problem remains. This does not matter if you plan to use it as a Toaster, but if you want it for Amiga games/audio, it will need repaired more professionally than I can offer.

The top case is not original. I had one bent from aluminum from a local metal professional. It is painted flat white which shows the mild yellowing of the front bezel. Some RetroBrite might bring them to the same color.

    6.4G Hard Disk
48x CDRW drive, works with IDEFix97
Video Toaster 4000 with 4.3 Bundle (Toaster 3.5 and Flyer 4.2)
NO keyboard/mouse, as I don't have extras. Sorry.
    $375 OBO + Actual Shipping

I can add a Video Flyer card with "Octopus" cables for $100 more. I will remove the Toaster card for $50 less.

It weighs 27 pounds packed well (bubble wrap, stuffing, and new Dell box) and I am in Augusta, GA 30907 USA.

Interested! No need for any toaster/flyer parts, or hard drive (save some weight for shipping).

Shipping will be to 22315, alexandria va. I can't pay until Friday. If that's a problem, let me know and I'll withdraw interest...gotta wait until payday or wife will have my head.

    Cheers.

I guess that means if nobody else declares interest before Friday then it is yours?
