    Default A3000 front LED Board

    Hi all

I'm after an LED board for my A3000. The tracks on my existing one were knackered, I tried to repair it by using short wires between the pins on the LEDs and where they needed to go on the board itself, and although it worked briefly I accidentally broke the LEDs off when trying to do a better fix

So please, if anyone has an LED board for an A3000, then please let me know!

I fix mine using the +5v leds hi power , you have to use only the left part of the circuit it is the part for the hd, the right isnt necessary is the power led . and need only Red and the middle black for work (if i remember good) the hhd led need the middle black and the left black for work.
You just need to put the original led on the case of the a 3000 & fix that with transparent clue strong (here we have attac).

That's interesting advice, thanks. I can use hot glue I suppose to stick them in place. BUT I need some LEDs as I broke them, I guess they're the same size as those found on an A500? Will that work as a drop in replacement?

No the amiga 500 Leds are bigger exactly the double size, the a4000 are the half.

    A3000 use ordinary rectangular LED.

A couple placed correctly over a perfo-board cut in the correct size is a perfect replacement and invisible after case closed.

make only attention when you soldering dont make cable or part of it touch the metal of the case or you will make an elettroshock to the machine.

No bed experience like this but the circuit is very close to the case and can do this if you are not really accurate, is better prevent this
