Hi everyone
Up for sale is my BBC Master 128 computer, with dual floppy drive, Microvitec Cub monitor, manuals and disks.
The Master 128 has been stripped and cleaned thoroughly, the PSU has had all its troublesome capacitors replaced and the keyboard has had every keyswitch removed and cleaned, so it is in very good working order. A Retroclinic DualOS has also been fitted, along with a new CMOS battery pack and a few software ROMS. There are a few scratches on the outer covers and a little bit of yellowing, and the ratings decal near the power switch is a bit wrinkled. Other than that, the cosmetic condition is good.
The dual floppy drive has been cleaned and serviced and is in good working order. There are a few scratches on the outer covers though.
The Cub monitor is in good working order with a nice clear picture and sharp focus. It has an audio amplifier built-in and can accept a composite video signal as well as TTL RGB. However, there are a few scratches to the plastic case and the front control flap is loose at one side as the clip has snapped off.
Also included are the monitor lead, a couple of ADFS Master Welcome disks, the original User Guide and Reference Guides part one and two.
The asking price for the whole lot is £130 o.n.o. plus P&P. For anyone who's interested but doesn't need another bulky monitor, I'm happy to sell everything but the Cub monitor for £100 o.n.o. plus P&P.
I would strongly suggest that it is collected in person (Newcastle-under-Lyme area, Junction 15 on the M6) particularly if you want the monitor as well. I can get a price for the P&P but it won't be cheap as it will need to be packed in at least two cardboard boxes and is very heavy!
