Default New LED pcb for the A1200

    Hello,

i dont know if this place is the right place: if not, moderators can move this thread in the right location on this forum.
I will made a new pcb for the activity LED of the A1200 (power, floppy, harddisk and PCMCIA), ready with cable, to replace the old one. The look will be similar to new pcbs that you find on youtube: that mean, the old LED will be replaced with three new LEDs paired. The form of the new PCB will be the same of the old. The colors of the LEDs will be red, blue, white and green: i need to test the best combination of it.
At the moment i wish to know if there is interest on this project, just to collect the parts: the final price will be about 5 Eur/pcs.

    Regards
    Stefano

I will keep a eye on this thread as I have all the connection/wiring already and is working but made my own not so good PCB some years ago. But here LEDS must support the following.

    Hardrive/PCMCIA : dual colour
    floppy read/write : dual colour
    power/audio : triple colour

    Hello,

your solution is much more complex. But i have good chance to print the pcb with good quality and the draw of the pcb is itself valid!
I will made one or two pcs about A1200 LED and A3000D LED pcb.

    Regards
    Stefano

Everything is soldered to the back of A1200 motherboard,so it just wires to PCB with LEDS nothing else.

You mentioned four (4) led colours, does that mean that the four indicators will be combined and visible through the three (3) case slots?
Or is there any case modding involved?

    Hello,

about my solution, no modding is needed. All is very simple, just like you have write: the LED refered to the PCMCIA is between two other LED (i think between the HardDisk LED).
