Default A500/A2000 Automatic Kickstart Switcher - New project!

Automatic Kickstart Switcher for AMIGA 500/600/2000

Rule 1: The Switchers are not available as kit, and will not be.
Rule 2: If you can't wait, please, don't declare your interest.
Rule 3: If you declare your interest, you accept to wait.
Rule 4: If you agrees with the Rule 1, Rule 2 & Rule 3, you can declare your interest!

    Thank you for your understanding!

    1-Features :

    - The Kickstart Switcher allows you to use two versions of the Amiga Kickstart up to the KS3.1.4,
    - The time of the long reset can be select with a 3 pins jumper 4s or 20s),
    - The priority of the default Kickstart chip used on the boot of the Amiga is selectable,
    - The switching of the Kickstart chip is viewable with a bi-color square LED (Red/Green).

    2- Youtube video link:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYlI...ature=youtu.be
Video made with the prototype board.

3- Quick but complete installation Manual in PDF!

The manual covers the installation of the switcher for the AMIGA 500 / 2000 and 600.

    4- My Switcher is ready?

If your Switcher is ready (tested), your line into the table is updated. When it's ready for shipment, look at chapter 5 below!

When some switchers are ready to be shipped, I send a message, then after seven days, if I have no news from the recipients, they will be put at the end of the list.
I remove from the table members who come onto Amibay frequently (sometimes everyday) and who never open my PMs.
I have decided to make like that since some members seemed to be very hurry to receive their order (multiple posts & PMs), then, strangely, when I send them the PM... no more news from them!
And this is not because they don't visit Amibay each day... So finally, the following members have the chance to rise into the list!

    Thank you for your understanding

    5- Payment:

When your switcher(s) is (are) tested and ready to be shipped, I send a PM to ask for your postal address and to give you the total amount and my Paypal address.
I DON'T ASK FOR PAYMENT BEFORE THAT YOUR ORDER IS READY TO BE SHIPPED.

Payment by Paypal with Gift option or buyers pay the fees.

    5- Shipping rates:

"Ribbon version". A little ribbon-PCB is plugged into the ROM socket of the Amiga. Price: 21€
The Kickstart Switcher is connected to the ribbon-PCB via a 40 wires ribbon.

    Usable into AMIGA 500, 2000 & 600.

This version is usable also into an Amiga 600. My A600 doesn't run with the KS1.3. I don't know why.
So, onto my A600, I have tested the Switcher only with KS2.05 & KS3.1.

Count me for one, how much could be?
Edit: Count me for two! maybe in a DIY kit with components to have some fun assembling and save some euros... Dont know the component list only sourced 74HC73 (0,50€), the rest could be hard to find here in Portugal

I use Oshpark.com to produce the PCBs. The first batch of only three PCBs costs me $19.15USD (around 14€).
The price for one PCB is $6.38 / 4.16€.

To reduce the cost, I need to have enough interested people to obtain a minimum surface of 150 inch² of PCB.
Like that, the price for one PCB is $3.83 /2.77€!
Assembled with components, I hope to be able to propose a price around $20 / 15€ maximum without shipping rates. (not expensive, very lightweight parcel).

The three prototype PCBs are arrived today!
Two weeks to arrive... from USA to France... with a stopover Blegium.

You can see on the picture how it'll be placed onto the A2000 motherboard.
