    Default Amiga WarpEngine 68040-68060 adapter

    Following this thread http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php...ne-68060-80mhz! I saw a lot of interest in a WarpEngine 68060 adapter that allow to replace the 68040 with a 68060 CPU.I can provide a first batch of the two PCB (upper board and bottom board) for 25€ 20€ both + 3€ for shipping (priority mail no tracking).
    Please note that I'll provide the PCB only with no components. You have to provide the components by yourself and solder them on the PCBs.
    The instructions to assemble the adapter can be found here: http://www.a1k.org/forum/showthread....305#post644305 .
    Please note that in the threads above, in order to make the adapter working, they talk about the needs to also disable the floating point unit of the 68060 with a patched kickstart or a rom card zorro2 (unless you use an EC060).Here I can provide you with the only adapter PCBs without components nor the mod to disable the 68060 floating point unit.

    One pcb set:
    - #1 bottom PCB;
    - #1 top PCB;
    - no components are provided, ONLY THE PCB

    Of this adapter I'm selling the PCB only, so no components will be provided. Buying the components, solder them and making the adapter working is up to you. So please evaluate if you have the technical skill to do that.For more info on this adapter please read the two threads linked in this post.

    I think so.
    Have a look to this thread http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php...ne-68060-80mhz as they talk about the 3640.
    As I don't have an amiga with warp engine I can only provide the PCB for people that want to assemble this adapter.

    I'll take one .. I would really like something like 5 of them but that would seem greedy .. plus I don't even know if I am gonna find someone who would be willing to assemble it for me .. I'd pay of course
