Hello Amiga fans.

Like I said on my presentation to the forum. I'm restoring my A600 and 3 A500 (one to keep and the other two for selling) (link to the project).
Also I'm restoring an Amiga 500 ram expansion, can check here.

I share some pics.

State of my A600:

I already send the metal shield to "repair" I don't have a picture to show how bad it was, but you can see what she looking now:

I'll add more pics over the time I progress.

BTW and I can't forget, thanks for your help Chapas.

Update:

Just want to share my new hardware for my A600.

- ACA 620 incl. CPU 68EC020 and 10.8+5 MB RAM Rev.2 - (ACAtune in disk included)
- Kickstart ROM 3.1 Amiga 500/600/2000
- Indivision ECS
- Digital Joypad (Sega Clone)
- A604n - RTC (Real Time Clock module)

Now I just need to wait to receive my A600 full restored (repaired and recaped) to add this new hardware.

BTW Cloanto its selling WB3.1 with some features, like:
Updated C/Version (Y2K patch)
Addition of Libs/workbench.library (for A-4000T 3.1 ROMs and 3.X ROMs) (don't apply)
Updated S/Startup-Sequence (for 3.X ROMs)
Updated Installer 44.10 and FastFileSystem 45.9 (to support larger disks)
Installer itself is now part of the system installation (inside the Utilities directory)

My doubt is, I have Workbench 3.1 from Amiga 1200 Magic Pack how I can apply the update or I can use WB3.1 from Amiga Forever 2014 Premium Edition (I also have it)?

I discovery Cloanto Amiga Forever Premium 2014 doesn't include WB3.1 updated like they sold WB disk's alone.

Now I'm having a problem, when I turn on A600, floppy drive do 3 strange clicks, then became normal clicking. And on Workbench sometime I get the error DF0: ????, but if put a disk, I can access without issues.
Tested with different PSU's and floppy drives. but if I connect Gotek drive i don't have that issues. this its strange :(

After a couple of tests, clean contacts (ram expansion), swap floppy cable and clean floppy heads, problem solve.

Now I just need to know if Workbench from Amiga Forever Premium Edition 2014 will come with new features or how I can update regular Workbench 3.1 from Amiga Magic Pack, can someone help?

I lost my mind again, I bought a new set of Workbench 3.1 and a couple of new items for my beloved A600.

I'll post pictures soon I get them :)

After a bit more research, I found Amiga Forever Premium 2014 brings the updated 3.1 installation, like if you buy the CF-card or WB disks, just need go to folder "Amiga Files" (C:\Users\Public\Documents\Amiga Files) there you can find the HDF files, just need to emulate them on UAE and transfer to your hdd / cf-card.

Unfortunately I haven't find any information from or on Amiga Forever help (not even on the webpage), to explain / support right form the start. And I just bought the WB3.1 disks... :picard

Well, going to keep them any, for my collection...

About the pictures, still waiting for the parcel.

Wow, that shield really came out nice! The entire Amiga did too. Nice work! :)

Thank you mate, still waiting for new addons to add / replace :p

I found a company here in Portugal who guarantee is able to replicate the shields (upper and lower versions), if that will be true, I'll start to sell them if people shows interest on them.
But I don't want to create false hopes, lets see what they say when I present them the shields.

BTW Rootboy, see my other post about my A500 ;)

Plus the Chinon button from great Steve ( I didn't take a picture but fit like a glove).

Still waiting for more stuff from Amigakit.com and Amigastore.eu :(

A small update (preparation for college don't let me play with :p).

small update, just receive the new Indivision ECS (green pcb) and upgrad to 8GB CF

IMG_20150813_132009.jpg

Now I have problems when boot my A600 (ClassicWB ADV v28 ), had to reinstall Workbench.

But I don't know how to take correct profit of Indivision ECS, I mean it work strait out of the box, but I want to use with 640x480 or 800x600 resolution with 8 colors, but it seems strange with CWB v28.
I like to have the felling of old days of WB3.1 + updates (PFS3 and some goodies, but not eye candy) to run WHDLoad.
If someone can give me a hand / help, I appreciate a lot :)

small update, replace the 4Gb for a 8Gb. I don't think this A600 need anything more, or maybe a better accelerator, who knows :p
