Amiga III Technologies keyboard - NOS

• Amiga III Technologies keyboard KPR-E94YC
• English or French layout
• big DIN connector
• small DIN adapter for A4000D included if requested

Story:

• last year discovered huge Amiga lot and these keyboards were part of it
• they are simply new, unused, pristine...
• when connected to Amiga for test realized that various keys are not working
• weird - number of keyboards, unused and not working??? Who knows...
• original membranes with various faulty keys, but visualy like new
• membrane replaced with newly produced and keyboard works like a charme!

Condition:

• tested and working 100%
• NOS - new old stock
• keyboard membrane is brand new - RWAP replacement - support both US and international layouts
• unfortunately French keyboards have one non working key "µ £" becuase new membranes does not support this layout

New price.

150Euro including EU shipping for US or French layout including new membrane.

French layout you can have now also unfixed, only with original faulty membrane for 130Euro including EU shipping.

The RWAP membrane fully supports both 94- (US/GB) and 96- (international) position keyboards.

You need to load an international (e.g. french) keymap to enable the "µ £" key (which is a cutout of the larger RETURN key found in 94-position keyboards).

The standard ROM keymap (US) for some odd reason supports the left-shift-cutout key "< >", even though it's not present in the standard US keyboard, and in fact assigns it the "<" and ">" symbols, but does not support the return-cutout key.

This might lead to the false impression of a membrane problem/lack of support, since it's natural to think that, since one of the cutout keys responds, the other one ought to as well, while it's actually the ROM keymap that lacks support.

First of all --- sorry for delay with shipping. Past few days very busy. Sorry guys about that.

BLTCON0 --- are you sure about that? Rwap membrane physicaly has not those two connections for the key next to Enter key. So how this could work? When you press the key, there is nothing what can indicate the key has been pressed.

I don't have a RWAP membrane, but I remember when they were announced that they were universal. And indeed, in the photos you've provided (3rd one), all the relevant pads can be clearly seen. Just load a French keymap and see.

BLTCON0 ---> you ware right! RWAP membrane is universal. Loading keymap did the trick. Please see updated first thread. There are photos to compare us/international and rwap membrane. Thank you!

Both Lucovicfrance and Buzzfuzz keyboards shipped yesterday.

You're welcome (y)
Yep, if you overlay the "classic" 94 and 96 position membranes, you'll get the RWAP membrane :)

Keyboard recieved, this thing is really pristine :)
The photos don't do justice on how nice this thing really is ;-)

Feedback on the way.
