Check if M5M418160BJ are compatible with TC514260BJ or NN514260J but I don't think so: SOJ-40 and SOJ-42!!!! (sorry for the mistake in my PM).

Two new rams HM5118165J soldered, but still 4 Mo !

With pictures on the Big Book, I see another resistor for the 8 Mo version !

Must be set for my 4 to 8 Mo ?

Does the PCMCIA port still working with 8Mb of RAM?

In case not, prefer to install a small switch to use the PCMCIA. Yeah, I know I'm preaching to the choir.
 
No, PCMCIA won't work with 8 MB on this board unfortunately.
