Hi guys,

Part of my Atari clear out I'm now selling my Atari STE.

Bought as a mini project years ago, the idea was to retrobrite it etc. Never really got that far though.

It was a mess when I bought it from eBay, worse than I expected. Cracked top case, broken floppy, disgustingly dirty, stunk of smoke, something had been spilled into the keyboard etc.

Any way, it's now had a mini restore completed. Stripped, top case replaced, completely cleaned out, keyboard stripped, keys washed, all plastics washed etc. It's in very good condition now, keys are slightly yellowed but the case seems good, I can only find one mark next to the floppy drive which I have pictured below, nothing seems to be able to clean it off.

PSU looks fine too, no bulging capacitors, boots fine, ran a couple of demos and seems perfectly stable.

So this is what's in the box:-

Atari 520 STE UK
4MB RAM (original RAM also supplied)
TOS 1.62 (original TOS 1.06 ROMS will be supplied)
Good DMA chip
Reconditioned floppy drive (fixed by Exxos)
Atari Jaguar control Pad
Scart lead
Generic mouse
Bunch of working floppy disks
SatanDisk

(NO SPLITS)

I think I have misplaced the power adapter for the SatanDisk. You can pick one up on eBay for a few pounds.

£170 + P&P (Europe only).

The STe is free to someone else.
The seller will not ship overseas.

Thanks.

Nobody is giving away anything. I meant it's "free" in the sense of freedom, for whoever may be interested in negotiating with the seller, as I withdrew my interest.
But I think you understood...

Edit: Withdrawing interest as no comms

Bumping thread after 3+ years.

Apologies to those that didn't get a response originally, looks like my thread subscription mode was set to not auto subscribe...even to my own threads, so didn't get notifications.

Forgot about this for a while, but looking to shift it on to make some room.

Original post updated slightly, hopefully a bit of interest!
