Hi all,

I am looking for the above FPU to complete a project with an Amiga A2286 bridgeboard.

It has to be the "287XL+" for compatibility with my other project hardware attached to the Bridgeboard.

Anyone has one to sell, please let me know.

Good luck with getting one - I was searching for it almost three years :-o and finally got one last month :cool:

Not sure what your project is about, but getting Intel or IIT one is much easier. FPU performance wise Cyrix is faster but overall in the apps that use FPU there isn't much difference.

Thanks for your reply.

I need the XL+ as it needs to have the very latest bug free Cyrix "3s87" core to be compatible with my project. Any other Co Pro will not work with it unfortunately. I have tried many but no success as the core is not compatible.

Hi,

Yes I have tried that one. It works for most things but there are errors/crashes when complex maths are done. The XL+ was released to iron out some issues...which I appear to have!
