Closed Commodore Plus 4 MOS 7501 or 8501 CPU

Hi all,
I have 3 non-working Plus 4 machines, all exhibit the usual black screen on start-up.
I have tested the 3 CPUs, 2 MOS 8501s and a 7501, and they all are dead.
I haven't tested the TED chips yet, but assume these are ok.

Anyone have, or know of a 8501 or 7501 for sale ?

I am studying your specific case and it seems the 8501 is really a 8500 with the NMI line missing.

I have a working plus 4 - if your interested? its cosmetically a little tatty but Ian at mutant caterpillar serviced the mother board and replaced both the TED and the CPU so its 100% healthy!!! anyway Id be looking to trade for any amiga hardware you might have.

Hi, thanks for the offer but I purchased 2 really bad yellowed Plus4s with working CPUs for £20, and fixed 2 of my mint machines on the cheap. So theres a tip for anyone in a similar situation with a good plus4/C16, purchase the scruffiest looking, yellowest C16/Plus4 you can find working and cheap and fix your decent machines.
