Default MicroBotics StarBoard2 Memory Expansion for Amiga 1000

    Save me from the recycler!

Part of a recent Amiga hardware/parts find -- a MicroBotics StarBoard2 memory expansion sidecar for the Amiga 1000 with 1MB installed. It does not have the upper deck which is needed for 2MB.

Physically, it looks brand new. However, when plugged in, I do NOT see the 1MB memory installed on the StarBoard as fast memory. When I run the included diagnostics disk, it does not recognize the expansion at all. This could be a problem with both my A1000's buses, or the StarBoard could be dead. All chips appear well-seated, and I don't see any obvious damage to the PCB. But these things are old.

Anyway, offering it up for the cost of shipping (less than $20 for US domestic shipping). Includes the test disk and 2 screws for securing it to your Amiga.

    Shipping prices sent to NoPyroNoParty.

BTW, I am in the US, shipping to Europe is not cheap according to USPS.com. For 1st class mail (10 days or so), it's around USD$30-$50. For Priority (around 1 week) it's USD$60-$80 -- depending on country. These are estimates of course, and if it's actually cheaper, I'll refund the difference after shipping.
