Hi there!
First of all, please, understand that this project is done during my spare time. I'm not a businessman... Thanks a lot!
So, if you're really in a hurry because your life depends on the Megachip, the best way for you is to open a Wanted thread.
Here is the launching of the Megachip project for the A500. The particularity of this version is the connection method.
Habitually, the Megachip is plugged in the PLCC support of the AGNUS chip of the Amiga motherboard.
To connect this new version, the PLCC support of the motherboard must be desoldered.
To intall the Megachip, two solutions:
- The Megachip is soldered directly onto the motherboard. This solution allow you to install an accelerator board in your A500!
- The Megachip is plugged onto a 84 pin PGA socket which is soldered on the motherboard. With this solution, the Megachip isn't soldered on the motherboard.
But the use of an accelerator is not possible due to the height of the Megachip.
The use of the Megachip works fine in two of my A500 rev6. The installation of the Megachip onto older A500 is possible. The modifications of the motherboard is a little different.
Here, some pictures of the Megachip installed into an A500 rev6:

The amount (excluding shipping cost):
From now, I'm forced to accept payment only as GIFT. I'm sorry, but if you're from a country where paypal doesn't accept GIFT transfert, I will not able to accept your interest. I really sorry for the inconvenience.
- As kit: 30€. This will include the PCB, the components and the 84 pins without AGNUS chip
- Assembled (without FAT AGNUS): 40€. If you are not able to solder the FAT AGNUS chip, you will have the possibility to send it to me. I'll solder it for you. The megachip will be tested before the shipment.
Which AGNUS do you need?
The board is designed for the AGNUS 8375. It has been tested with the revision 390544-01 (PAL). As the pinout of all 8375 revisions are the same, the Megachip should run with all of them, except the one used onto the Amiga 3000. List below from a post of fordav1:
Agnus (2MB) 8375 R0 318069-18 A500+ (PAL), A600 (PAL) <- Not compatible. A3000 AGNUS. Pinout different.
Agnus (2MB) 8375 R2 318069-10 A500+ (PAL), A600 (PAL)
Agnus (2MB) 8375 318069-11 A500+(NTSC) and A600(NTSC)
Agnus (2MB) 8375 318069-19 A3000 (NTSC), A3000T (NTSC) <- Not compatible. A3000 AGNUS. Pinout different.
Agnus (2MB) 8375 390544-01 A500+ (PAL), A600 (PAL)
Agnus (2MB) 8375 390544-02 A500+ (NTSC), A600 (NTSC)
Onto which Amiga this board works?
The design has been made for the Amiga 500.
The electronic design works onto the A2000 but the geometry design is not adapted for this computer.
The routing for the A2000 version is done.
