Hi all,

I am shortly to take delivery of a VXL 030 accelerator along with an empty ram board, the VXL 32, which will be unpopulated. This board supports 2mb or 8mb, and must be full. Mixing if dip sizes is unsupported. So, I can dined the 128kb dips that would give me 2mb everywhere. Part number like:

Hay534256ALS-60.

so this would be 60ns.

WhatvI need is a set of 16x 512kb dips to give me 8mb. I don't know how many rows etc are needed to work in the VXL. Please can someone sell me a set of 16 dips suitable to give me 8mb. Failing that, a part number for the dip would do - a bounty is offered (assuming this is not against the rules, sorry if it is) for anyone's time/bother in helping me.

Thanks all.

I only know the Toshiba 1Mx4 DIPs. They have 80ns. Is that fast enough?
I should have 16 tested pieces here...

Many thanks for your reply. I will find out about the speed thing.

how many pins?

VXL32 need 20-pin DIP's, 1Mx4, 80ns for 25MHz and 60ns for 40 or 50 MHz 68030.

OK, how much were you talking about as a charge for 17 of these chips old lad?

Thanks.

I have many 512k x 8 bits 60 ns chips, really these are 512 KB at 60 ns; but the package is SOJ-28
