Is the scroll wheel supported (with the use of freewheel or whatever it's called of course)?

The current firmware only supports clicking on the scroll wheel to translate as the Middle Mouse button for Archimedes and Risc PC.

But there is a custom Amiga only firmware being developed which will fully support scrolling with the wheel.

Firmware is user upgradeable, very quick and easy using just a Windows PC and USB A to A cable.

Of course i will be offering free lifetime firmware updating too :)

OK, I'll take one when they're ready and see how it goes, probably another later. I've got USB on my 1200 but it's a bit of a pain in the arse having to have an amiga mouse connected too for games so USB -> Wireless going in on the native mouse port will be a lot better.

Scroll support on the Amiga does require the use of both 9 pin ports though I believe :)

Hmm, OK, well Ill still take 1 to give it a try but I would think that for anyone who is interested in the scroll wheel (not everyone will be of course), giving up a joystick is likely to be a deal breaker. It looks like other mouse adapters can do the wheel without using another port. Obviously I don't know the details on how.

All I have been able to find is 2 port PS2 adapters for scroll Mouse, If a single port version does exist then someone please post details :)

There's the Micromys v3 as well which appears to be a single DB9 connector. Looks like there's a bit more to it than the Coco. Obviously these are PS/2 not USB, but the resultant Amiga connection is a single port and they seem to say they have scroll wheel support. Like I say, I don't know how they do it. I think they are sending keypresses or something?

Well if that's available at such a low price and provides Wheel support then I think I shall drop Amiga support altogether.
There hasn't been much interest anyway and my time is probably best used elsewhere

:)

Product Withdrawn due to lack of Interest and no Wheel support.

Neither of those are USB. But you asked for info if there were any that could do the wheel in a single port.
