Looking for a version of the legendary space-trading game Elite for the
rare(ish) Einstein Tatung -series of computers.

Also interested in other versions of Elite, if they're in better
condition than what I already have in my collection.

Would be compensating for your possible losses through Paypal. :)

Wow!! :wooha: Another Elite collector - I thought that I was alone in my quest....

I currently have Elite for the PC, Spectrum 48K, Commodore 64, Amiga and Acorn Electron and I'm on the lookout for a copy of the Acorn Archimedes version.

What versions do you currently have?

If I come across the Einstein version I'll let you know.

IIRC, at the moment I have Elite for Atari ST (Firebird release), Atari ST (Rainbird release), Amiga, Apple II, MSX, Commodore64, Spectrum 48k, Amstrad CPC, NES and two Acornsoft releases, but I don't remember for which machines they are.

I also have Elite Plus, Frontier Elite II and First Encounters on my shelf, but don't remember for which machines.

I'll make a list at some point :) Thank you for keeping me informed in case you come across an Einstein version.

How about the BBC Micro 'Executive Edition'? That's the one that runs on the 6502 + 6502 multi-processor BBC B/Master setup.

I've not seen it myself - I only have a disk image from the Stairway to Hell BBC collection.

Elite for Tatung Einstein found outside of Amibay! This thread can now be closed.
A big thank you goes to "stokecityfan" for his tip in finding one (y)

Megatron-UK: I've never heard about one. If that's a genuine boxed release, then that must be "ultra rare", as they say in feebay. Except in this case that would be true :)
