    Post A1500/A2000 Rev 6, 040 33Mhz CPU/FPU 32MB Fast 2MB Chip, Indy ECS, SCSI2SD

Up for sale is my beloved A1500.

I am having to sell due to space constraints and other financial commitments.

    The system is as follows:

GVP Geforce 040 combo accelerator at 33Mhz CPU & FPU, with 32MB RAM (2x16MB from Tbtorro)
I can only get the ram to detect in the middle 2 slots 1+2 not 0+4, this could be bad solder joints, dirty slots, i just dont know, and I dont have the electronics expertise to investigate, needless to say it works in this configuration and has for many years, but for complete transparency I am noting it here for any potential buyers.

I have the original manuals for the GVP somewhere and I will try and dig them out.

The Fan on the CPU has been replaced with a modern, more efficient silent one, the old one sounded like a hoover!

I have had a friend burn me the latest GVP SCSI ROM from Ralph Babels site (4.15 iirc) and this is currently on the board, but I will include the original GVP branded one as well.

There is a SCSI2SD card fitted running the latest firmware with the bootloader delay fix added for Amiga SCSI, I cant remember the micro SD card size iirc it's 8 or 16GB, i'll check.

It is also fitted with a MiniMega Chip to increase the chip RAM to 2MB. (please note this is an NTSC chip, but a PAL machine, so i use the early boot menu to put it into PAL if required)

There is an Indivision ECS FF/SD fitted (this resolves the PAL/NTSC anyway) and I have routed the VGA connector out through the graphics card port on the back of the machine.

It is fitted with a 3.1 ROM, and has had both floppy drives replaced, also in the case is a SCSI CD-ROM which works but I haven't used since I got the SCSI2SD.

Original keyboard and mouse will be included, there is some yellowing of the keyboard and mouse (note the mouse in the pictures is not included) but for its age is to be expected, the case is pretty messy on the outside, and 2 of the 4 side screws are missing, but it has been like this since I got the machine.

The mainboard is pretty clean and the battery was replaced about 8 months ago.

If i can find it, I will also throw in a buddha flash gold edition (i could never get it to work!)

Please note that this is a UK ONLY, Collection ONLY (Nottingham) sale!

    No Splits.

    Asking 700 ono (was 720)
    Paypal only, buyer pays fees.

Please note that this is collection only due to having had a VERY bad experience selling an A2000 in the past, whereby when it was delivered it was broken beyond repair, also if you collect it I can show it in full working condition before you leave so we both have peace of mind.
