    Default Kipper2K A2000 Co-pro Adapter v0.95 Ideal for TF530, A508 Vampire etc

I have a batch of Kipper2K designed adapter boards to allow you to plug a normal DIP64 expansions into the Co-Processor slot of the A2000 (A1500) CN600.
This saves having to remove the drive tray if you want to get access to you CPU board and also you don't need to build a socket tower to get the board over a MegaChip.

The adapters are gold plated with beveled edge where it goes into the Slot on the motherboard, also the contact surface of the DIP64 and the two pin header are gold plated. These are brand new Mill-Max Manufacturing Corp and Molex, LLC parts.

Depending on the board you are fitting to the adaptor you may need to remove the 68K CPU from your motherboard.
I have included a pic of the Max board dimensions that will fit with the case closed.

I now have 44 (Was 50) for sale to start with and will order more as needed (Was 25). (Will update this amount as they sell, also for sale elsewhere)

Prices for 1 adapter are as follows:

    UK Signed 1st Class 16.50
    UK Untracked 1st 15.50

    EU Tracked 22
    EU Untracked 17

    USA / Can Tracked 23
    USA / Can Untracked 18

For other locations and for example if you you to buy 3 or 5 etc I will calculate a cost.
    Untracked sent at your risk!

I will only except Paypal Gift as this is not a commercial product.
TF530, A508 and A5000 seen in pics not included neither is the A2000.
You can't close the lid with a Compact flash card in the A508, although Kipper2K is redesigning the A508 with this in mind.
I have got permission from Kipper2K to sell these boards.
There may be a delay in you getting these boards if demand is faster than I can produce them.

    Other Items for sale:
    A500 CPU Relocator ( 90 degree ) Ideal for TF530
    Kipper2k CD32 Riser - RGB (DB23) and optional PC Keyboard (PS/2) Ideal for TF328
    TF328 & Kipper2K Riser v6.0

I will probably sound thick but would this allow me to put in an Mtec 68020i? It plugs into the 68000 on an A500 or A2000... I am probably barking up the wrong tree seeing as they are really made for Vampire boards?

Depending on the design of the Mtec it should fit. I have a SSL A5000 which is a pretty big CPU card that I will check fitment off later this evening, I will give dimensions so you can work out if the Mtec will fit or not

Measure from pin 1 of the 64-pin CPU socket on the adapter to the top plane of the A2000 case cover (you could turn the A2000's case cover upside down and turn 90 degrees, placing it on the front and rear base walls) and measure downward. Distance measured is the free space available to the mounted accelerator card. Heads up warning that some case covers had foam glued to the underside to compress cards into the slots for transit (A2091, A26x0 accelerators) so anything within 2-3cm of the case underside should have care taken. As any adapter-mounted board doesn't secure to the front guide or rear plates, remove for travel.

I have updated the first post with a Pic of the max size dimensions. Hopefully this will assist people in determining if the their boards will fit or not.

    Thanks Will

Yes, that is one of the reasons Kipper2k designed the board for use with the Vampire, as well as other DIP64 designs.
