EDIT:
Link to sale thread of newest version of the pcb: https://www.amibay.com/showthread.p...eader-Writer-(Application-V2-5-Firmware-V1-8)

-- I still have the older pcb's available, so keeping this alive for reference and warranty/support --
I designed a PCB for this great Arduino based Amiga floppy disk reader/writer project (GPLv3). And also designed a small 3D printed case for it. I've converted about 1000 non-copy protected Amiga disks to .ADF format with this, so its great for basic reading/writing, but if you happen to have copy-protected and non-standard disks, then KryoFlux is recommended (I also have that one for non-standard disks).

Design is based on:

Download link to reader&writer software: http://amiga.robsmithdev.co.uk/ADFReaderWriter24.zip

Included:
- Arduino Pro based Floppydisk Reader/Writer(v2.4) hardware (see first two pictures).
- mini USB cable for PC connection

Not included or optional:
- floppy cable (with +4.5€ I can add it to the delivery)
- normal PC floppy drive
- 5V power adapter (as you can get them from ebay for like 2-3€ (vs shipping charges from Finland increases 10€ for non-letter sizes). Of course if you don't mind 20€ postage to Europe, then I can offer all in one solutions too.

Payment Paypal friends&family or IBAN transfer.

Price: 29€
Priority shipping (not registered) for EU countries: 3.9€
Priority shipping (not registered) for non-EU countries 8€
Exceptions: Not shipping to Mexico.

Update: Howto update earlier V2 version to V2.4 version:

Open v2.4 sketch file with Arduino IDE ( https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software ) and then choose Arduino Pro mini (red square in the picture) and right com port, and then press the arrow (req square in picture) to compile and upload the new version to the board. When IDE says "done uploading" then your all setup with v2.4

Update 20.3.2018 added option for white case:

Update 7.7.2018 added grey case option:

Edit: Robert has released v2.5 version of the project, I will make separate sale threat for it as hardware PCB has changed a bit between versions.

If you want to upgrade this older version to Application V2.5, Firmware V1.8, then you need to cut one trace and add 2 jumper wires:

Does this require an Amiga floppy? Or can is use a regular PC 1.44 Disk Drive.

Website says it can use a standard PC Floppy drive. I was going to DIY this at some point but life's too short. :D

So... :interested: - Interested.

Sending PM.

Item Arrived. Thanks!

Really good build construction - What 3D printer did you use for the case?

Haven't had a chance to use it yet... soon though!

I use multiple 3D printers. I have pimped up Anet A8 (with upgrades its almost as good as Prusa) and Prusa i3 MK2 and soon I'll also have Creality CR-10S (DHL shows package arriving to Finland already so I should have it up and running next week).

Br, Jonni
