Default Sound Blaster 16 ASP/CSP chip (socket)

I'm looking for a Sound Blaster 16 ASP/CSP chip for my Sound Blaster 16 CT2740 that has the empty socket. When I listened to the Duke Nukem 3D intro song on YouTube with various sound cards, the Sound Blaster with the ASP chip sounds amazing. Don't know if there are games or programs that support the ASP/CSP chip, but it'll be cool to have something like that.

    Note: USA only.

I have a CT1740 that has one soldered on, but I have no idea if I can physically remove it from that card and place it in the CT2740 (which I know the legs are different).

    I've got a CT1748-SBP ASP I pulled from a broken AWE32. Would that work?
