Default 68030 TK - Another accelerator card for Amiga A500/A1000/A2000 designed by Matze (aka Matthias Heinrichs)

at the moment offer upgrade from 4MB to 64MB Version ONLY
please DO NOT declare interest for new cards/Sets - these will be ignored!

    Hello dear Amigan's

Many of You know me as a retro computer enthusiast,
I’m spending my free time building retro computer related hardware for a big range of computers, making them more powerful and comfortable to use.
After one year of building Terrible Fire’s TF530 accelerator cards designed by plasmab (aka Stephen Leary) from Glasgow, i decided to build something new, maybe more powerful and with more RAM on it..
Was looking a while, and stumbled on a 68030 TK Accelerator card, designed by Matze (aka Matthias Heinrichs) located in Germany.
This accelerator card has 4MB/64MB of RAM, DMA, buffered IDE, works perfectly in A500, A1000 and A2k
(actually, that was the reason for me to start building it).
As Matze has opened he’s accelerator card sources – everyone is welcome to build these cards.
All information about can be found on Github. It’s free for non-commercial purposes.

While TF530 was A500 oriented (also works on A1000. A2000 is also partially supported) - 68030 TK was designed for all Amiga’s with 68k DIP Socket.
Have build first card with 4MB of RAM and i must admit this accelerator works very good!

This 4MB RAM part fits also Harms Professional 030 accelerator card, making it working with autoconfig SRAM and IDE (needs 2waitstates/RAM and 2waitstates/IDE Firmware! ), so it's very interesting for persons having Harms 030 without RAM Board!
Has powered PIN20 on IDE, this is need ed for DOM's and CF Cards!

I have ordered 10 cards in total, and I will offer these for sale, as I don’t need all of them anyway, just one or maybe two..
There is same small problem like all other accelerators have – an additional relocator is needed to be able to close housing properly.
Some of You has purchased Kippers relocator clone from me - this relocator fits perfectly
    For A500/A500+:

Also A2000 need a Relocator, its also designed by Matze,
it has an IDE and clockport on it what gives interesting possibility to expand our A2000 even more!

    Asking 185€
SORRY, NEED TO ADJUST THE PRICE, BECAUSE DIGIKEY/MOUSER DOUBLED THEIR PRICES FOR CPLDS AND RAM
for ready built and tested 68030 TK (50Mhz), with 4MB RAM card, A500/A1000 relocator and CF Card adapter
A2000 version will change the owner
    195€

PayPal as a friend/family or add 4% to cover fees
    Also IBAN payment is accepted

Postage fees for all versions are 8,50€ to any country (tracked & insured)
    5,50€ to Germany

    Thanks for watching,

    UPDATE 09.01.2020
    Dear 68030TK users,
will start an upgrade program to 64MB cards from february
(as spoken previously in this thread)
for the customers who bought 68030TK+4MB version from me

unfortunately this card is still experimental and is not plug'n'play,
this means that several things need to be done
before You will be able to use this card without crashes

Most important thing here is PSU -
it need to be in good shape (recapped)
heavy 2,5A version is too weak and doesn't work for me on any system

Voltage (while system is on) measured on CPU socket should be not less than 4,8V

CPU socket need to be clean and should make good connection to the board
some systems need additional power & GND cables connected to the ram board(Some run without them)
Also Your Amiga need to be recapped in some cases (most caps are dry 30 Years after production date)
Also some boards need 3D Printed cover on the connector that acts like a shield (also piece of foil wrapped in a paper can do the trick)

Unfortunately also TK itself needs some resitor to be changed and
Firmware (Lattice cpld) need also to be updated
this leads to the situation that Your 68030TK card need to be sent to me
(to change 5 resistors to different value and Firmware update)
If You are interested to take a part in this experiment - please let me know!

will it be used in A500 or A2000?
Can offer 4MB version currently, have some trouble to source parts for 64MB, so it is not tested yet..

Interested in one with relocator for my A1000. Currently I've M-Tec 68020 inside, so it will be a great replacement.

It's probably gonna be no, but do you reckon this will fit in the CDTV and still be able to put the lid on?
