This has Apple firmware (taken from a sled for oldish XServe disk), but does not seem in any way to affect its behaviour in a bog-standard PC.
Tested by installing windows to it (sorry Apple fan boys

Working perfectly - and very quiet too. Cosmetic condition is near perfect.
