@Merlin
That sticky velcro sounds like a great idea! And dont worry, I'll measure three times before I start slicing my dear Mig ... Allready cutted the usb ports to the side and they turned out fine
If you don't have an IDE Fix Express then you should have enough space to fit a big JAE adapter yes Sounds like you are getting to a point where we will be seeing an A1200D project photo thread soon?

I'm about to enter in the game since i have already set up my loaded 1200 but free time seems to be my main problem. I have been buying all the goodies for my project and i've been trying to make it true in the last 2 and a half years but always something spoiled everything and the project wouldn't come to an end. After a lot of difficult decisions and changes i have recently closed the case once and for all (never say never though) so i should open a new thread in the following days. My humble 1200 comes loaded with lots of goodies but decided to leave out the slimline cdrom since it caused more problems than the benefits i had. Anyway i'll try to organize the photo material i have gathered and present it in a new thread.

I have now tried the internal cd-rom mounting with a regular slimline drive, but the big and fat JAE adapter really is a problem. And I bought the Blizzard 1260 finally, so I'm thinking of buying a tower and Mediator for my A1200.

Wow what a machine. Where did the psx joypad things come from? I am loving the slot loaded DVD as well. Looks insane. Liking that USB to ethernet as well.

Given me so many ideas

Cheers guys

I got the PSX adapter from a guy called Paul Willingham. Here it is from his video: -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnO6dKU1pT4

Contact him through PM on his youtube channel if your interested in buying any. It can actually be used for many 9 pin D computers, not just Amiga. Its got a controller chip inside the connector that plugs into the Amiga controlling everything in software so its a pretty neat and tidy solution

I have also attached some info about the PSX adapters so you can have a read up
Attached Files
File Type: pdf amiga PSX-Adapter.pdf (71.3 KB, 8 views)
