Hi all,

An urgent bill has led me to putting the following items up for sale.

1. Acard 7722-UW SCSI-IDE Bridge - Sold to Ratfink

This is IDE to LVD SCSI and I think I have the LVD to IDC adapter somewhere for it too. It also has the Molex power adapter cable. It's used, but in very good condition and is working. £45 + p&p.

2. Gainward Nvidia GTX 260 GLH PCI-E Graphics Card

This is the 896Mb DDR-3 GLH (Goes Like Hell) Edition and was highly rated when it was first released. It's fully working, hasn't been overclocked and I even have the original box for it DVI to VGA adapter included. £40 + p&p.

3. Saitek Gamer Backlit Keyboard

This is a few years old but was only used a few times, as I didn't like the keyboard action. It's boxed and comes complete with the external keypad that plugs into a socket on the keyboard. £26 + p&p.

Edit: Prices lowered as of 9/3/2013.

Interested in the scsi-ide adapter, pending a few questions:

- the scsi bit is 68 pin?

- the LVD to IDC adapter you mention converts that to 50-pin scsi?

- with both of them in tandem... I could attach an ide hard drive to an amiga 2000 scsi card - these seem to use 50-pin scsi?

- will the auto-bootability of any such scsi card be affected by having these adapters between the card and drive? The acard q&a suggests it should work without drivers so I'm wondering if it is truly transparent once installed.

- in fact... this would in theory mean i could use a cf drive with a scsi card?

Depending on the answers, if you are including the lvd-idc adapter then I'm interested.

PM sent.:)

Hi Ratfink,

Yes, it should be completely transparent to the system and should be bootable. I need to dig out the LVD to IDC adapter, as it's attached to an LVD hard drive somewhere in my pile of stuff. I can't remember if it's 68-pin or 50-pin SCSI, but my gut instinct says 50-pin.

With an IDE to CF adapter, it should be possible to use a CF card as a hard drive. Fitzsteve may be the best person to comment about this.

Once I have located it, I'll post back here.

I'll dig it out of the loft and photo it for you tomorrow, Chris.

@ Ratfink

I've found the adapter and it is LVD to 50-pin SCSI, as I thought. This would give you 50-pin SCSI to 40-pin IDE, if that's what you need. Depending on what you have in mind, you may need an LVD SCSI male to female cable. The Acard also has a male to female Molex adapter with the extra floppy power connector for the board itself, so you can connect it to an existing Molex plug from your PSU.

That's the best picture I can get of the keyboard when lit. I had to Photoshop the background, as the room is a mess . The keyboard is quite usable in a dark room, as the letters shine through. The keypad is on a connector like a network cable, it plugs into the top of the keyboard and it's programmable for different functions.

Sounds good to me, sending PM regarding total and payment details:)

Hi Ratfink,

I can't see the postage as being huge for it, so I'll weigh it in the morning and let you know the total. I need some address details too - do you want it sent by recorded delivery (recommended)?

:)

Edit: Acard sold to Ratfink - details exchanged.

Payment received from Ratfink

I'll PM the tracking number later.

Edit: Tracking number sent to Ratfink.
