I've currently got ad-rs1600i's A600 with me for some Retr0bright love and I noticed that one of the keyboard support lugs on the upper case was broken and held up with black insulation tape. That wouldn't do at all....
So, I set to work to repair the lug. I found that the locating lugs that secure 5 1/4" bay blanks into a PC case were the exact same shape as near as dammit, so after a drive blank was mercilessly hacked, some Dremel fettling and some solvent weld cement later I have this slightly over-engineered repair.
I think it's safe to say that it's not likely to fail for a long time....
