Hello there my fellow AmiBay'ers
I am in need of your help and this time its in the form of a Spectrum +2A or +3 power-supply.
Here's a +3 variant, the +2 differs only in the plastic that states.. "+2"
Basically the PSU is an external +12v / +5v Switching Power supply, not like the earlier Spectrum's that use a 9V 2 amp plug pack.
As long as the plastics are reasonably and not smashed I would be happy to have a broken one, as I am more than confident I could fix it.
My good friend Yorkie4 gave me a non-working +2A a couple of weeks past, and after some research and some burned +2e ROMS later - last Friday Yorkie and I saw this little 80's monster rocking again - to say we both had beaming smiles would be an understatement =)
However, I am in need of a power supply, since this Spectrum is to be part of an exhibition for kids and more so their parents to play with, I would prefer it if it had an original PSU to avoid all the extra wires hanging out.
So, if you have a Spectrum +2A or +3 power supply, working or not, then I would like to here your terms for release of this prisoner =D
