Well I hope this is where to put this. I have pictures of my partially cleaned up classic computer room. There are still several machines I need to make space for. But as you can see in the picture there are the following machines

Commodore Amiga Computers

* A2000 - 2630 w/ 4MB
o Buddha Flash Phoenix,
o OS3.5
o 2MB ram card
o 1MB chip,

* A600 - Viper630
o 8MB (4MB enabled)
o OS 2.1
o 2MB chip

* A3000D
o Stock 2MB Chip
o 16MB Fast
o Spectrum RTG

* A3000T
o Stock 2MB Chip
o 16MB Fast (trying to find rails to mount SCSI CDROM)
o OS 2.1

* A500
o GVP Impact Series 2 side car
- Unknown Hard drive size and Memory as I don't have power leads for it[/color]
* CDTV
- Stock, but CDROM drive doesn't work

* A4000D
o GVP 4060DT@50MHz,
o Sunrize AD1516 Soundcard
o 2MB Chip
o 16MB Fast (working to get more ram)
o OS3.1

(trying to save up for OS3.9 and 128MB GVP memory for accelerator, Maybe a Mediator Desktop busboard too)

Other Computers

* NCR IBM PC 486SX-25
o 8MB
o built in Graphics,
o MPU-401AT,
o Sound Blaster Pro 1.0.
o Roland Sound Canvas SC-55MKII
o Roland CM-64 Midi Sequencers
o Win3.1

* Custom Built Pentium 3 -866
o (downclocked to 600)
o 512MB
o Voodoo 3 3500 AGP
o Sound Blaster AWE64 Value
o Realtek PCI Ethernet Card
o Win98SE

* Gateway 4DX2-66
o 486DX2-66
o 16MB
o Matrox Millenium 4MB PCI
o Sound Blaster Awe64 Gold
o (need separate Keyboard and mouse for this system PS/2)
o Win3.1
(for higher specced DOS games that I cannot play on the NCR)

* Macintosh G4 -450
o 512MB
o ATI Rage 128 16MB AGP
o OS X last PPC release
o OS 9.2.2 (I think)

* Macintosh LCIII 68030-25 no FPU
o 20MB
o 160MB SCSI HD
o OS 7

Hidden in the corner under the desk is a 486DX-33 that needs a lot of work as the RTC in it has died and it's one of those old huge black box things. Also there with it is the Monitor, which is why you cannot see the desktop. Enjoy the pictures.

*Edited* - To differentiate computer types by color In an attempt to make it more legible, oh and to keep Zetro from falling asleep :D

Re: My Classic Computer room

Hmm, well I wasn't exceeding the 2MB upload limit, but it wouldn't let me post more than 4 photos. So here's the 5th photo of my Classic Computer room and a couple pictures of some of my more loved PC games that Keep on my shelf at the moment. The rest are downstairs in waterproof containers.

Re: My Classic Computer room

I'm pretty sure that you both have much nicer set ups than me. I wouldn't mind if everyone interested in posting pictures of their rooms did so.... :whistle:

Re: My Classic Computer room

Not atm & for some time yet. What's left of my collection is in boxes & the whole downstairs is a bit of a building site atm.

Front bedroom will be the computer room when the redecorating work is finished.

Re: My Classic Computer room

Hiyas Nathan,

Firstly a nice range of systems, one to certainly be proud of, a man after my own heart I would say!

Now secondly.... lets talk format!

Blabbing out a HUGE block of text nearly sent me to sleep trying to read it!!! and I missed so much you had mentioned..

so for the sake of those sore eyed people out there -

Nathanieltolbert : "A+" Computer collection but "C-" Post Formatting .... see me after class mr!

Re: My Classic Computer room

Wow, considering I don't post a lot anywhere I don't even know how you did all of that formatting! If I did, I would certainly have done it that way. I'll see if I can edit it and bumble my way through to help with the Formatting.

Nathan

*Edit* - Is that a little better? Sorry I can't seem to do the indent thing that you performed. Is it any more legible now? Thanks for the tips.

Re: My Classic Computer room

Awesome!

much better =D now more pics *heheh*

So how to do the indent -

this is my A2000 IF i ever get the damn thing running again!

see its all about nesting the [.list][./list] tags (remove the '.' of course =) )

Re: My Classic Computer room

Lucky duck! You have an RTG for your A2000. If I could afford a SD/FF I would probably buy an RTG one of those new spectrum cards from Software Hut. I would be willing to take more pictures, but the question is, what do you want me to take pictures of? Let me know and I will supplement accordingly.
