well...... I went and got some 1N4148 diodes (for some hack) from my local shop... I specifically asked for 1N4148 , and I asked the owner a 2nd time just to be sure....
and he gave me these:

are these correct? they have a yellow stripe :wooha:
there are 4 stripes: yellow-brown-green-brown ... does that translate to 4151 ??? I need some fast switching diodes for my project btw...

Thanks for any info!

You can find out more about diodes from here make sure you get them the right-way-round though =D

now, you must tell me.... what mischief are you upto?!

nice, I think it is OK... jtag+xbreboot 360 my dear Z... already tried one console, read nand - found it was incompatible and now I am getting a falcon one with a 6717 kerner, which is a SURE thing! :)

Just for your information: the 1N4151 is a bit better than the 1N4148: it have 75V of VRRM instead of 50V of the '48.

Same speed.

awesome, awesome... just another q now...
the diagram has this: mobo---|<------ , which means that the black like of the diode is soldered to the mobo side... I assume the yellow line in my diodes is like the black line , right?
