Comes with games pictured and tested power supply, all good and everything works!

Case says +2A but as was normal back then, it contains a +2B board

Tested with 128k Bionic Commandos (not included)

I can second this with Macc my own +2B does say its a +2A both on the casing and on the menu and yet it has perfect sound which was not the case with +2A machines.

I don't want to be off topic but I am intrigued by this better sound of +2B. What is fixed and how do you know the difference? It's just, I have +2A and would like to know if it is +2B. :) Also, does only +2A model have sound problems?

The proper +2a is very rare, and uses the same main board as the +3 (FLoppy controller chips are unpopulated) with the same error in the sound circuit that makes the sound muddy. You can fix it, but due to the rarity of the +2a you would not.

The obvious difference between the +2a and b, is that the a, has the drive b port present. (I'm not sure if there is a cutout in the case for it or not, but you should be able to see it next to the printer port)

Easiest way to find out is look at the motherboard revision number, if its Z70830 its a +2A (or +3A), if its Z70833 then its a +2B (or +3B)

What is fixed is basically the sound, on the +2A and +3A its awful! and as rightly stated, the +2A has the capability of adding a disk drive (but its not the easiest thing to do!)

Yey, I have +2B. :))) For a second I've thought that my ears are not as picky for AY as they are for SID, now I know I have a good sounding Speccy. :)

Thanks for info, Macc, insightful as ever.

Declaring interest, providing shipping to Australia isn't insane :)
I could probably do without the games if it brings down the shipping cost.
