All of the keys work, although F, G & H need a firm press
You hear the traditional BRR-BEEP on power on.
The screen picture doesn’t sync cleanly on the RF output, (to an LCD TV) but is fairly stable using the provided RGB to SCART lead.

When I first switched it on, after several years stored, the PSU emitted smoke and smelt of burning, then C2 exploded.
C1, C2 and C9 replaced.

The PSU works now, although there is still the smell of warm/old components – maybe other capacitors need replacing soon.
There is also a continuous quiet buzzing from the speaker when it is on.

The Case is discoloured (yellowed) in parts especially on the top.

Never having used a BBC B. I have not tested any further functionality other than as described above.
I don’t know how to tell if the ROMs are working or not.

The CUMANA disc drive unit, which has a manual, is untested as I have no floppy discs available.

Super example of a nicely stocked-up BBC Micro with plenty of ROMs present thanks to Sideways ROM board (I'm dead jealous).
The Beeb still OOZES quality for me - superb build, looks and capability for the time (IMHO, streets ahead of the competition)
Wishing you luck with it, buddy - I'm tempted but I already have a nice Beeb... though not quite as nice as yours!
Cheers.

Yes they are well built and expandable.

Though I don't have the time to learn how to use it.

All arrived today..

Sadly the ROM Board inside the Beeb did not fare very well..
Due to the way these fit to the mainboard when shipping you need to add some cushioning material inside to prevent the board from coming free and then running riot..
As you can see from the Pictures The Board is ruined as quite a few of those pins will instantly snap when attempting to straighten them, and during it's travels inside it even managed to break one of the PSU Ground connections to the Mainboard..

Shame...

TC :)
