Having to daily un-approve posts or de-bump some posts I thought I would bring it to everyone's attention as members are falling foul of this and repeat offenders will receive infraction points or limitations on their account especially long standing members who should know better.
The 1st part of keeping your thread updated, this is not an excuse to bump your thread.
The ONLY time you can make a NEW post is when you reply to a members declaration or direct question, P&P costs (this can be sent via PM), payment received, item posted and feedback.
It is NOT allowed to make a new post to simply say "no response from member item still available" , "now accepting offers" , "photos added" , "Only x left " , " Another X items in stock " etc..etc..
the above statements should be added to your 1st post NOT a new post.
Also its 2 weeks / 14 Days not 13 not 12 etc the amount of times I PM a member who's been here for a long time with reply like "sorry i forgot", "its only 2 days dude" won't cut it. Strictly 14 days after the last post in the thread whoever has posted.
This includes stealth bumps. adding small items to bump a thread or reducing the price by €1 or another insignificant small amount.
to bump a thread early it MUST be a SIGNIFICANT change to your thread or you MUST edit/amend your 1st post.
All the above WILL BE ENFORCED.
There is also an unwritten rule as it should be common sense you are not to bump several threads at once but spread them over a few days apart as one member can instantly place a new thread on page 2 bumping too many threads at once, this will eventually be a rule as will the amount of a price change to bump a thread, you can reduce your item by €0.01 as many times as you wish by amending your 1st post but to bump your thread it must be a SIGNIFICANT change in price which should be at least a 5% reduction on the most recent price.

Keep your threads updated:
You must keep your sales thread up to date. You may update the original post with the status of your items, using phrases such as SOLD to [Member Name]. We also recommend updating your thread with a new post with other pertinent information, such as "Money received" and "Item sent".
You may revise your thread at any time, however, you are required to leave the prices, descriptions and your terms of sale in place once a sale has been completed. This information is a receipt of the transaction between you and your buyer. If you are struggling to keep threads updated, please contact a member of staff to help.
Bumping your thread:
'Bumping' is defined as posting in your For Sale or Wanted thread for the purpose of bringing it to the top of the list of most recent threads. Unless you have made a significant change to your thread you may only bump your post once every two weeks. A significant change, refers to a price change which should be at least a 5% reduction on the most recent price or any other relevant information that will be important to a buyer.
