It's great to see members back and I hope you enjoy the work I put in.
nice one!!! here is my mod , the PCE was donated to me with a fail rgb-mod and I fixed it... it was a mess and still has burns and some holes.. can't complain though for a freebie!
I went the rgb-amp way , a good friend gtsamour sent me a board he made, saved me from searching for components + time
Recently I made experiments to replace the amp with a more awesome TI 7374 IC, but I got mediocre results... anyways, enjoy the pics!
...and this is how the machine looked when I got it...
and after:

@Steve, done mate, check original post (Was just being lazy)
@heather, I used mmonkey as Justin linked to for the RGB mod, its really great instructions he made, quite easy too, and the RGB booster is simple.
The Mod chip came from www.pcenginefx.com A guy there called BlueBMW sells them with instructions. Its the same one I put into my PCE GT last year (thread in sig).
@keropi, AWESOME mod mate! I'm wondering how the picture looks with that lovely RGB booster cct? and do you run it on a CRT?
@slk486, I'll be bringing this little wonder along with my Amiga 1200 and Neo Geo to SSKT9 in Sept, so you can have a play
^ the picture is really really good, I chose to use C-SYNC instead of composite for the RGB and that got rid of annoying background jailbars... I run it in both LCD and a trinitron 14" crt, needless to say on crt it is awesome...
@slk486: once I build my own amps (either like the one above or with the 7374 IC) you are very welcome to a free amp+installation

@keropi, great stuff mate! Mine looks super sweet on CRT too. I did the mod at work and was viewing on an RGB LCD monitor, it looks ok, but no where near as nice as on a good old CRT You can see how bad the pic was before I put the Transistors in the SCART Plug on Talespin. It was quite ok on Don Doko Don, not so dark, but now its super colourful and bright. Fantasy Zone is now a whole new level of hallucination
